The Shepherd

There is a new television series coming out called “The Chosen” that you can read about here.  Take the time to watch the 2 minute video at the bottom of this link where Rabbi Jason Sobel, one of the leading Messianic rabbis on the historicity of the Bible and the life of Jesus explains the significance of “swaddling clothes” in the birth of Christ as portrayed in The Shepherd. My thanks to Brandon Adams for bringing this to my attention!

This is the first episode called “The Shepherd

If you haven’t seen it I would encourage you to do so. It’s really quite beautiful.

Disciple of Jesus, married to Peggy, with 5 grown up children, 7 grand children, ex-Canadian military and residing in beautiful Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. a.k.a. "Papa"

Amazing film and project Bruce. Thank you so much for posting this and keeping us are. One note – the Pharisees at the beginning sure did not use the Wisdom from above I discussed in my blog today from the book pf James!

  3. Oh, fantastic! What a great way to focus on what really matters! Thank you for letting us know about this. And yes, Brandon’s post was really informative. I hadn’t known about the significance of the “swaddling” either.

Thank you, Bruce. The forces of darkness have been giving it their all over the last few decades to utterly stop in its tracks what the Lord is now bringing forth. They have utterly failed. This film is just one more excellent example of the historic times in which we live.
