How Far Have We Fallen

Jesus said in Matthew 7:12 NIVSo in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Somehow, in our journey towards equality, justice and freedom for all, we are losing our way.

  • Do we seek mercy from God yet deny it to others?
  • Do we seek compassion or understanding from God yet deny it to others?
  • Do we seek justice, fairness or equality from God yet deny it to others?
  • Do we seek acceptance or forgiveness from God yet deny it to others?
  • Do we seek help or assistance from God yet deny it to others?
  • Do we seek hope or a future from God yet deny it to others?
  • Do we seek truth or honesty from God yet deny it to others?

If we are not ashamed of what we are becoming, we should be.

Do we? The problem today is there is a culture using goodness to destroy goodness and it is lead by Satan himself. It is hard to love when being stabed in the back.

    • Bruce says:

You’re right about using goodness to destroy goodness, such is the deceitfulness of the enemy but Christ holds the ultimate victory. In the interim we follow His commandments to pray for our enemies and do good to them where ever possible. I acknowledge it’s not easy.
