A Small Reminder About God — EttingerWriting.com

This blog examines other attributes of God besides love.

Too many times we hear of a “gospel” that only speaks of the loving and accepting side of God. This is an excellent article by David Ettinger that briefly and effectively examines the love attribute of God and balances it with the rest of the Bible’s revelation about God’s attributes. Everyone, without exception, needs to be mindful of this.

  2. The fact that God warns us time and again of the coming wrath and judgment is yet another sign of His love. He doesn’t want to destroy us, but if we don’t heed His warnings, we have only ourselves to blame.
If you want unconditional love, look to God, Who loves you enough to correct you.
If you just want unconditional acceptance, get a dog.
