The Creator Revealed: A Physicist Examines the Big Bang and the Bible | Michael G Strauss

Michael G. Strauss is a David Ross Boyd Professor of Physics at the University of Oklahoma in Norman; he earned his undergraduate degree in physical science from Biola University and his doctorate in physics from the University of California in Los Angeles. He conducts research in experimental particle physics studying the fundamental particles and forces in the universe, and has worked at major international laboratories in the United States and in Europe. Strauss also speaks at churches, schools, and universities around the world about the intersection of science and Christianity. He is one of the four general editors of “Zondervan’s Dictionary of Christianity and Science.”

Do current scientific discoveries support or contradict the story of creation in the Bible? Does science give evidence for or against Gods existence? Does it matter what you think about origins, science, and the Bible? Does your understanding of science and creation affect your daily living or your relationship with God?

In The Creator Revealed, author and physicist Dr. Michael G. Strauss explores these central questions about science and faith in simple and entertaining language, showing how modern scientific discoveries about the origin and design of the universe proclaim the character of God and agree with the biblical story of creation. For the Christian confronted with possible inconsistencies between faith and science, and for the skeptic who believes modern science has shown that belief in God is unnecessary, The Creator Revealed can demonstrate the glory, power, and wonder of God by looking at science, the Bible, and the effect that truth has on peoples lives.

Reconciling the truth of scripture with the truth of science can change your perspective and your life. The message of The Creator Revealed will expand your idea of who God is, increase your faith in him, and provide a way to share this revelation of God in creation with others.

Dr. Michael Strauss’s book is currently on sale at Amazon Kindle Edition if you’re interested. I highly recommend this book. The link is directly below:

The Creator Himself walked this earth and most rejected Him. Science is the dissection of creation wether it lignes up with ones opinion of scripture or not. Carnally minded people will only receive spiritual Truths when The Spirit of God touches them. People grossly underestimate the sovereignty and power of Jesus Christ. For me, the more “credentials” a person has, the less I’m interested in what they have to say. I’m speaking of spiritual matters.
Sitting here at a soccer field, enjoying my sons game. Thankful for my mother, my family, my life in Christ. Thankful for you Bruce.
But most of all today, sitting in the wind, reminded of John 3.
Blessings upon you this week Bruce In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Hi Stephen, I also am thankful for you and I look forward to your comments and thoughts. I understand your thinking about “credentials” but there are still some noteworthy exceptions. I’m one of those people who has to learn mostly for myself and for me, that happens best when I am in the Scriptures and spending quality time in real prayer. Everything just seems to go better when I’m where I am supposed to be. My wife just mentioned today how much we have to be thankful for and she is so right. We’ve been invited over to supper at one of our daughters, who is now a Christian. Five years ago I had almost given up hope because of the hold that alcohol had on her, but now that hold is all gone. She was at death’s door and was saved entirely by God’s grace. Such a gift. Amen to your blessings in the wonderful name of Jesus and right back at ya. You and I will meet one day, I look forward to that. God is good.
