Wee Bit of a Storm Coming . . .

Looks like we’re in for a wee bit of a storm tonight with hurricane Dorian here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Saturday, Sept 7th, with major power outages anticipated so if you don’t see me online for awhile, not to worry. Expecting 49 foot wave surge along the coast. Fortunately I no longer (just moved) live right on the sea coast and those who do have been advised to evacuate until the storm passes.

UPDATE: Hurricane Dorian arrived as a Cat 2, here and gone now, 70 % of Nova Scotians without power Sunday morning (including us). But all things considered, it wasn’t a really bad one. Just boiled some hot water on the BBQ and coffee is ready!

Matthew 5:44-45 NIV  “ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Have a blessed weekend!

Worthy is the Lamb. Blessings!

  1. Glad you are safe. I was just thinking about you and I was wondering how you were doing. Our wifi went down this afternoon for no apparent reason, so tech support is coming out in the morning to fix the problem. Is yours up now? Do you have power? Are you all settled into your new place now?

    • Hi Sue, thanks for thinking of me. We still have abut five boxes to attack and our storage unit needs rearranging but for lack of better words, we’re pretty well done. Hard to believe we did it, I had some serious doubts going there. I was thanking God for seeing us through again yesterday. Internet, phone and basic cable are working fine. We were without power for about 36 hours so we lost some food in the freezer but nothing major. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers Sue, ALWAYS appreciated. You and your family are close to the top of my prayer list! Grace and blessings.
