In Memory of Nabeel Qureshi

It’s hard to believe that two years have gone by since Nabeel went to be with our Lord. This is the post that I posted on his passing two years ago today.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Nabeel but I watched a number of his videos and of course all of his VLog videos during his illness. I truly felt he was my brother. Many of us have shed tears today. Remember his wife Michelle and his daughter Ayah in your prayers and of course Nabeel’s parents. I asked Jesus to give him a hug for us and let him know how much he was loved and what an example he left us. A sad sad day but I rejoice that he is with our Saviour and that we will see him again. What a day that will be.

  1. I was moved by Nabeel’s last video, filmed the day before he died. He asked for prayer for healing, but then as he himself prayed, he asked God to heal them, then in the tradition of Shadrack, Meshach, and Abednego, added, “But if You don’t, I still love You and trust You.” I’m looking forward to meeting him someday. Meanwhile, I do pray for his family, especially those who do not yet know Nabeel’s Lord.

    • Hi Ann, I remember the video and I remember his words. Knowing how he felt about his wife and daughter and his own family, that is so hard to watch and yet beautiful at the same time, it always gets me. I’m pretty sure that the expression of his faith was a gift to us. Grace and blessings Ann.
