  1. Hey, Papa Bruce! I started writing this on Annie’s blog but then decided to post it to you directly. “If we truly believe that God is on His throne, then we should act like it and not get so swept up into what is transpiring here, especially when we can see how easily our emotions can be drawn into sliding towards our fleshly way of thinking.” I agree with that 100% however I am still numb. As I said to David on his post today, it’s numbness in all areas from the candidates, from the media, from the supporters of each candidate. This process and people’s attitudes has left me absolutely numb. I am so thankful Jesus is on the Throne. This is a test in how we will respond. I have absolutely no idea where it goes from here. What astounds me is the refusal of people to see that Americans will rise and fall together. Equally astounding and truly hurts and grieves my soul is the lack of care that if/when the USA falls, there will be a lot of collateral damage. A lot of other nations/people groups will hurt and fall as well. I am SO thankful that Jesus is on the Throne. I am thankful that Truth, Justice, and Peace are a Person and His Name is Jesus.     • I agree Mandy. I don’t think we truly realize what we have learned to think of as normal behaviour during this last while and from my perspective it is far from normal. There are no decency standards anymore or if there are, they have slipped a whole bunch. Maybe this is all part of that “lawlessness” that the Bible says our society moves into. It’s sure looking like it from where I sit. But Jesus said not to fear because He had overcome the world. Hang onto that and one day at a time. Love and blessings to you and yours also. – Bruce
