God’s Holy Word

Sometimes I get tired of hearing myself think and if that happens to me, about me, it can surely happen to you, about me. So nothing from me today at all, except . . . . God’s Holy Word!

Matthew 6:31-34 NASB
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Philippians 4:6-7 NASB
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Hebrews 1:3-4 NASB
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, to the extent that He has inherited a more excellent name than they.”

John 16:33 NASB
“These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

Worthy is the Lamb! Blessings!

  1. YES! This is just what I needed to read. Yesterday, I was terrified that our city had run out of water, when nothing came out of our faucets. Knowing that our municipality gets most of its water from the Canadian River, which is supplied by Lake Mead, which — according to the news reports — is drying up… And also being aware that millions of people are dependent on Lake Mead for their water supply, and knowing that the human body can only survive for 3 days without water — I panicked when I thought that our water supply had dried up!

Then the Lord reminded me that His eye is on the sparrows. God’s got this! Praise His Holy Name!
