Teri Dugan and Other Special Sisters in the Lord

I’ve never met Teri Dugan (Teri is on the left side in the above picture) and I think over the last eight years or so, we’ve only exchanged a couple of emails, but in my books, she is a special lady. If you have never frequented her website (https://truthfaithandreason.com/), I would highly recommend that you do so. It struck me this morning, as I took a good look at Teri’s volume of work, how it speaks of her dedication and persistence in serving our Lord. I’ve reposted a good number of Teri’s posts over the last few years and you can view some of them here.

And then I was mindful of the other “special ladies” I have had the pleasure of coming to know, on this Internet blogging medium, over the last few years. When one encounters one of these special women, it doesn’t take long to acknowledge their love for Jesus, nor the beautiful ways in which they express that love, and the wisdom they have accumulated along the way, that we men so often aren’t always able to.

I don’t like giving a list of names because I know I will end up missing someone that I didn’t intend on missing, but I will provide SOME (key word), because I would really like to. The order they appear in does NOT indicate any preference, these are all special sisters, each in their own beautiful way. And if you’ve never frequented their websites, I would strongly encourage you to do so because each one presents a unique perspective that blends into a beautiful harmony of warmth, wisdom and love. My personal walk with God has been truly enriched by God’s grace allowing my path to cross with theirs.

I KNOW for a fact that I have missed others that I have learned from, over the last few years, and if your name isn’t here, please accept my sincere apology. It just struck me this morning on how rich the mosaic is that God graciously weaves, and I am beholding to each and every one of you. It’s really amazing when you stop to think about it. And as smart and cunning as we men may think (key words) we can be, God’s wisdom, patience and grace is oftentimes more graciously displayed in you. May our Lord Jesus truly grant all of you His peace, grace and blessings!

Worthy is the Lamb! Blessings!

  1. Thanks for the list of top-not ch Christian women bloggers, Bruce. I follow some of these ladies, but not all. You are correct to say that God often demonstrates His wisdom and grace through women, rather than us ornery men. God Bless!

  2. I can’t tell you how much your vote of confidence has encouraged me today! When I started blogging, years ago now, I had no idea how many incredible friends I would make along the way. Thank you for your friendship, my Brother. You have encouraged me more times than I can count. God bless you and Peggy today!

  4. Hi and thank you, Bruce! I follow many of these ladies because of your blog (and male authors as well). I am thankful for all that you do to share God’s Word in this dark and hurting world, by being real and encouraging believers. Praying for you and Peggy. Lots of love and blessings.
